Excellent Service Award (EXSA) 2008

Launched in 1994, the Excellent Service Award or EXSA is a national award that recognise individuals who have delivered outstanding service.

It seeks to develop service role models for staff to emulate, create service champions, professionalise services and raise the prestige of a career in service.

EXSA is managed by SPRING Singapore and ten industry lead associations (the Association of Singapore Attractions, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, the Land Transport Authority, the National Association of Travel Agents Singapore, the National Healthcare Group (representing healthcare sector), the Public Service Division, the Restaurant Association of Singapore, the Singapore Hotel Association, the Singapore Retailers Association and the Association of Banks in Singapore).

The Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE), Food, Drinks & Allied Workers' Union (FDAWU), Singapore Manual & Mercantile Workers' Union (SMMWU), and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) serve as advisors and supporters for this award.

SERVICE GOLD AWARD - The National Courtesty Award

Since 1994, the Singapore Hotel Association (SHA) and the Singapore Kindness Movement Council (SKM), have been jointly presenting the "Service Gold - The National Courtesy Award" to courteous employees in the hotel industry.
